Question:
Does insurance cover a second surgery if you have gained back your weight?

It would depend on many things. Type of original surgery, if it's still intact or if it was not the right surgery for you or done imporperly. If you KNOW you ate your way back up, not that vague guilty thing we all carry around, but really KNOW you ate it, then probably not. But if your insurance does not exclude WLS and if ANYTHING can be found wrong with your original, then maybe. Mine was broken, so it was done. I've also known several people who simply had an intact, non-working surgery and they were also covered. Depends on the insurance and depends on the details.
