It sounds like you may not have chewed your food up well enough and that
perhaps a larger piece of chicken is blocking your stoma. When mine's
blocked, that's when I get the clear, mucusy stuff. It's going to be
uncomfortable as long as it's blocked. Just keep drinking and vomiting
until it either passes through one way or comes up the other. That's what I
do. And remember from here on out: small bites and chew, chew, chew!

I saw a similar post earlier and responded to that. I had exactly the same
experience last week (I had a grilled chop) and I was MISERABLE all night.
I was burping, had dry heaves, kept spitting up foam, etc. I thought it was
from the food but talked with my daughter later and she had just had the
exact same symptoms and she has not had WLS so. Her little girl had done
the same thing and now her husband is experiencing the same. Then two of
the ladies I work with went thru the same thing. I think it must be some
kind of virus or something. It's pretty nasty whatever it is.

The best tip I ever got from this wonderful site was for "stuck"
food - make some hot tea (herb - particularly mint is great - I put a
little Splenda in mine) and sip it SLOWLY. It's never failed me - it'll
either go through or come up but it'll be over. This takes 20-30 minutes
- hope it works as well for you!
