that sounds very similar to what happened to me at about 5 weeks. an endoscopy revealed that i had a stricture coming out of my stomach into the small intestine. your upper gi was not an endoscopy? an endoscopy is the only way they can accurately tell, and it needs to be someone familiar with the procedure behind a gastric bypass. i had to have a dilation and it has helped so much. mine was so severe that my opening is still small; but i'm hanging with that since it allows me to lose weight so much faster than if it was bigger. good luck - please stay with it! don't let yourself go too long without going directly back to your surgeon's office and telling them you need their help to have this checked and diagnosed. i nearly died from dehydration and malnutrition. took 5 days in the hospital to stabilize me before they could do the procedure. Please don't wait. be pro active in your own care! you can email me on my personal email if you have any questions for me - [email protected]

Get this checked out I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks because of a stricture and the symptoms were almost identical. the only way they could tell it was a stricture was by doing endoscopy, the upper gi showed nothing. in addition to the stricture I also had an ulcer which also can be serious for a wls patient.
