Question:
WHAT TYPES OF PLASTIC SURGERY HAS BEEN INSURANCE APPROVED?

AT 5'7 AND 365 I AM SURE I WILL NEED PLASTIC SURGERY FOR THE EXTRA SKIN. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE TYPES OF PLASTIC SURGERY INSURANCE HAS COVERD I HAVE GREAT-WEST INS.I ALREADY HAVE BACK PROBLEMS AND I AM TOLD ALONG WITH THE SKIN CAUSING BACK STRAIN IT MAY CAUSE RASHES AND ETC. WHERE ARE ALL OF THE LOCATIONS BESIDES THE TUMMY AND ARMS LOOSE SKIN SEEMS TO HANG AROUND??    — WENDY W. (posted on October 25, 2003)

Hi. I also have Great-West PPO Insurance and started out with stats similiar to yours. 340 & 5'7" and am now 173. I recently was approved for a lower body lift. They approved it the first time around and I had no problems what so ever (I was actually kind of shocked about that). I was told by my surgeon that no one will approve a breast lift unless its accompanied with a reduction. I didn't bother that route because, well, i don't have anything left to reduce. =D I eventually want to get my arms and legs done and don't think i'll have problems with getting those approved either.
