HAS ANYONE HAD LAP AND GALLBLADDER REMOVEL AT 370LBS WITH DR.J AT NEWEIGH HOUSTON,TX?

I AM 370LBS AND DR J WANTED ME TO LOOSE 10 LBS AND STOP SMOKING ( GO FIGURE..LOL) I WANT LAP BECAUSE I HAVE MAJOR BACK PROBLEMS THAT KEEP ME FROM GETTING AROUND ALREADY.HE ALSO WANTS TO REMOVE GALLBLADDER AT THE SAME TIME.MY SURGERY IS OCT 29TH.ANYONE , IN THE SAME OR POST OP SAME SITUATION?    — WENDY W. I had lap rny at 325 pounds, and they removed my gallbladder at the same time. I had a different doctor, (actually one doctor removed the gallbladder, one doctor did the rny surgery) but I would think that your situation would be similar. If you can have your gallbladder removed at the time of your rny, I would highly recommend it.
