Where can i buy Protinex? Is it hard on the stomach?

Protonix,if it is the same one my sister in law takes for acid problems in her stomach is a prescription and your doc must prescribe it for you, if you are talking about the same drug I meant......LOL

To both of the previous posters - Michelle is looking for a protein supplement called Proteinex - not the drug called Protonix. If you looked at the subject line about the question, you would see that it says "Protein" <p> Michelle - I believe that you can order Proteinex online from the manufacturer at http://www.llorenspharm.com/products/proteinex_liq.htm I have no idea whether it is hard on the stomach or not, I've never used it...JR

My good friend used Protinex soley for her protein the first 6 months she was out- she mixed it in grape Koolaid- loved the stuff- never had any stomach problems with it- I on the other hand thought it tasted vile and no amount of Koolaid or splenda could cover it up- Good Luck to you! John is right - also you used to be able to get a sample from the manufacturer-

Proteinex is a liquid protein supplement. Protonix is an acid reducer used for acid relux disease. You can purchase Proteinex online. I believe John already gave you the web address. You can also purchase it at Walmart in the pharmacy. They may have to order it for you. I found it cheaper to order it online. For me the taste is nasty. I mix it in 4-6oz of OJ to cut the taste. I sometimes just hold my nose, too. It's worth the benifit for me. It's not hard on my stomach. (just my tastebuds - lol) It's used mostly for Dialysis patients who have difficulty processing the protein. Proteinex is predigested meaning it's in the simplest form and is easily absorbed.
