Question:
MY GALLBLADDER HAS ALREADY BEEN REMOVED ARE THEY JUST GOING TO REOPEN

If your gallbladder has been removed, you shouldn't even need a gallbladder test. Also, they don't open you up to do a gallbladder test. It is tested thru ultrasound or scan.

I'm assuming you had a lap gallbladder removal. If that's the case, then they don't use the same incisions if you are having a lap RNY. That at least is the case for me. I had gallbladder removed lap and just had lap RNY on the 10th and the incisions are not the same.

If you're having an open surgery, they can't use the same incision line. The gallbladder incision goes from about 2 inches below your breastbone diagonally to the right. The open incision for WLS goes from breastbone straight down to navel.
