Caution, are you getting in all your water daily? There are a couple
issues. If your pee is real dark and not plentiful you aree likely
dehydrated. Now if your diabetic and your blood sugars are now normal then
peeing less is normal. You can ask youre surgeon but what color is yours?

I am peeing all the time.. I drink well over 64 oz of fluid and its seems I
am always on the pot LOL... It might be your not getting enough fluid
intake...

Yes, I too have noticed that. Even though I get in all my liquids the urge
to go has diminished. Soemtimes I can force it, if I remember to try. Not
sure what's up with that.

Basic physics here: if you're urinating less than before surgery, you're
either sweating more or drinking less. In either case, you're not drinking
enough.

I get all my fluids in and just don't have the urge as frequently as
before. I can 'go' if I want to, its in there, but its the urge that has
changed. I don't know what is up with that!

Pre-op I was always a big water drinker and I would get up 1-2 times each
night to pee. Now 6 months post-op, I drink even more water and never get
up at night. I don't understand it. I seem to go the same during the day
though.

For me, pre-op, I pee'd a lot. I was up 2-3 times during the night. I
drink 64+ now and pee less. Why, I think it is because I no longer have the
weight pressure on my bladder. My urge to pee constantly stopped just
shortly after having the surgery.

I am the opposite, I never had to go pre-op. Now I am always having to go!
I guess it is all the liquid I drink now. **13 mths PO, -200 lbs, crt wgt

You know, I'm pretty much the same. I don't go as much as I used to.
However, as a previous poster noted- the 'urge' had changed. I thought
that I was wierd (because what could RNY have to do with my bladder) for
feeling that way too. I'm glad to know that someone else experiences it.
I do not have the same feeling when I need to go. Sometimes I find that I
actually have to go so bad that it presents as pain. When, before, my body
would have sent me those familiar signals long before the pain arose.
Wierd, huh?

I thought I wasn't drinking enough or something, but even if I drink a TON,
I don't pee as much as I used to! I'm glad I'm not the only one!
