Tonya, my doc has his paitents on puree's for 3 months, so I didn't have
that problem. Have you talked to your surgeon or his staff about this? Your
body is still healing from major surgery, so it's normal for it to act out
a bit. Make sure you're getting in 64 oz of water so you don't get ill.

Honey, I'm almost 10 weeks out and don't do well with the more 'regular'
foods that my buddies who had surgery the same month as I are doing. I
think that it's really different for different people, and you and I have
little baby pouches that are just a little slow to adapt. I also will tell
you that I made ALOT of progress between six weeks and 9 weeks....so as
long as you can get foods in, are hitting your goal for water and protein
every day I think you're OK. Just slowly add a new food every three or
four days. If you get sick from something, my nurse said don't try it
again for a month. I'm following that advice and it's getting better.
Soon enough apparently, we will be wishing for these days of not being able
to eat....
