Question:
Looking for a new ins. in KS

Hi All, I currently have ins. thru my job but they will not cover the surgery. Am going to have to jump thru ALOT of hoops to try and get them to pay ~ which I will BUT... I was wondering if anyone in KS knew of any ins. co. that will cover the surgery if you take out a personal policy? Also interested in ins. info from any surrounding states. My current options are begging my employer, self pay, new ins. or getting my jaws wired shut (which my job won't pay for either)!! *The kicker is that the ins. company said surgery would be a medical neccesity but then they looked at the policy and said it was an exclusion*** Anyway, Please let me know your ideas. I don't think I can help you but I wanted to say Hi. All three of my children were born in Independence, Kansas (Mercy Hospital). We lived on a farm near Neodesha. Anyway, I live in KC, MO and have Humana HMO through the IRS where DH works. Best of luck.
