Question:
should I contact medicare/medicaid myself?

Should I go ahead and call medicaid/medicare and personaly ask for approval? Would it help my chances of getting aproved?    — bb2t94 (posted on January 2, 2002)

No that is up to your Dr's office. My Dr did all the paper work and i had a surgery date in two days. Good luck.

It is really a simple process getting approved for this surgery with Meidcare and Medicaid. I was approved in 4 days and 2 of them were weekends.
