Question:
Does anyone have experience with Cigna International or Rabkim/Jossart?

Hi, my dad works overseas (currently in China) and he is covered by Cigna International. I believe I am also covered (if the insurance card he sent me has not expired) which might be a good thing because I am in Florida and want to go to California for my surgery. I looked in the Cigna International provider directory and it lists Dr. Jossart as being covered, but not Dr. Rabkim. So my question is, when I go to my PCP under this new insurance, should I ask for a referral to Jossart or Rabkim or does it matter? I was under the impression that they both performed the surgery together, but that Dr. Rabkim was kind of the lead on the obesity end and Dr. Jossart on the laparoscopic surgery. Has anyone been referred to Dr. Jossart because Dr. Rabkim wasn't listed as a provider for them? Or has anyone just gotten the surgery done with Dr. Jossart?
