I haven't used in on treadmills but at work we use silicone spray on the
assembly lines sometimes to get them back when they move over like that.
turn it on to where it is moving and spray the spray up underneath where
the wheel turns it, then gently pull it while it's moving. Be very careful
not to get your fingers caught because that will hurt a lot. But gently
keep pulling until it straightens out. You may have to do this often
because odds are the whole belt is off center. Try that first and if that
doesn't work try looking through the yellow pages and see if there is
someone around your area who can fix them. You could call a gym and ask
them who repairs their equiptment.

Hi! There is usually an allen wrench or other type tool that comes with
your treadmill. This tool is then used like a "key" to adjust the
belt on your treadmill. The silicone spray is usually used to keep the belt
from rubbing against the base and building too much friction. This saves
the belt from wear and tear, and also will reduce the amount of static
electricity that builds up. You may not get as many shocks from the handles
if you use the silicone. HOWEVER, some treadmill models tell you NEVER to
use silicone, so I would advise you to check the instructions that came
with your treadmill to see IF you can use silicone spray and to check where
the adjustment bolt is on your treadmill. Most of the time the bolt is
somewhere on the back end of the treadmill (away from the handles). Nearly
all models will have this adjustment bolt to straighten your belt when it
moves to the side. It is part of regular maintainance of the treadmill and
doesn't mean anything's wrong with it. Hope this helps. Maria
