Question:
Did you find it very difficult to focus after?

not feeling like themselves for a few months after surgery. I am concerned about that because I will be returning to college after surgery. Has anyone else done this? How long was it before you returned to a full load of courses? Did you find it very difficult to focus, study or take exams? I know when I diet sometimes I am so tired I cannot focus on schoolwork. everyone's different, but I returned to a "focused" desk job only 5 days after--and didn't do well at all. My memory was not where it usually was and I was very distracted by my pain. A week later, I'm back full time and doing very well, however. I would say in my case it was a good 2 weeks before I could "concentrate" on ANYTHING else.
