Question:
I'm looking for a support group in the DC metro area

that is NOT doctor specific. I live in Gaithersburg Maryland; my surgeon, Dr. Lin, is in DC, but I am willing to travel to northern Virginia as well. Can anyone help?    — MarilynT (posted on June 26, 2001)

There is a large WLS support group that I enjoy in Silver Spring, Maryland. It meets the second and fourth Wednesdays at Holy Cross Hospital at 6:30pm. Dr. William Marcus is the surgeon for most of the attendees, but not all. The group also has web support as well.
