Question:
How can you tell if you have done damage to your pouch ?
Is there anyway to tell if I have ruined my surgury ? I am a bit over 3 months post op . I feel like I eat soo much more than others that post here . I have gone from a size 30 to a loose 22 and have lost aobut 64 lbs . I exercise a lot also - BUT - WHY aren't I losing any more weight - I have been the same for 2 weeks - did I ruin everything ?? I am so so bummed ! I had a Lap RNY .. — [Anonymous] (posted on June 24, 2001)

I feel just like you and Dana! I'm a little over 4 months post op...I have
lost 86 lbs (yea!!!) I feel like I eat way to much and posted a question
asking asking other post ops how much they ate and didn't get any real
clear answers. I do hit plateaus every once in a while(one of them lasted
3 weeks)I've been averaging a 13 lb a month loss, but wonder if I have
damaged my pouch and if I wasn't eating so much I would lose faster! I can
usually eat up to 6-8 oz per meal, does this sound like alot to anyone
else? I'm considering asking my surgeon at my follow up visit next month
if I can get scoped just to check it out and make me feel better!!
