Question:
Was just curious anyone out there with blue cross blue shield of ill hmo been approved

I go to see my doctor next week and all the paper work will be submitted to my insurance carrier. my question really is to anyone who has bcbs of il hmo how long did it take u to be approved? this goes out especially to those who don't have any major co morbidities did u do anything special to get approved i.e. include a letter.....anything else i could do to garuntee approval...all thoughts would be appreciated    — [Anonymous] (posted on June 13, 2001)

If you go to the top where they list different locations and click on insurers then click on Illinois. The list is set up alphabetically. It appears BC/BS is pretty good about paying depending on the policy. Hope this helps Helen
