My sister and step father had surgery with Dr Pomp and I had it with Dr
Herron. Here's my opinion of them both.
Dr Pomp: Competent, wonderful doctor. He truly cares for his patients and
their well being. He is so warm and caring, it's almost unbelievable! I
believe that he is from Canada and Dr Gagner (The God) sought him out to
come to NY. He was the best there. My sister has had nothing but
wonderful experiences with this man. When she raved about him, I said
"yea whatever". However when I met him after her surgery, I
could truly comprehend what she said. Not only do I trust his
professionalism, I think he is a genuinely nice person.
Dr. Herron: Very competent, friendly, motivated. He knows his stuff. He
is young (about 40). He keeps on top of his job. He runs the web site
surgicallyslim.com.
He's truly a great dcotor.
Neither one of us had any complications whatsoever. I went back to work at
two weeks, she didnt work but had a baby to run after. Today, at 9 & 6
months post op, we are truly happy with the results of our surgeries. If
you have any questions, please contact me.

I'm 8 weeks post op with Dr. Herron. I absolutely love this man and I trust
him as my surgeon and physician. He was very thorough and fought for me
with my ins. co., to give me the right surgery for me!! He has been
interested in me and even called after he found out I called the "on
call" to see how I was feeling. He apologized when running late and
was always very professional. He has answered all my questions and has
always responded to my e-mails(sometimes it took several days but they
weren't emergencies and the answers could wait). He was there when I woke
up in recovery and I saw him everyday I was in the hospital. He made sure I
knew who was covering for the weekend. I couldn't be more thrilled. I feel
it a priviledge to be one of his patients. I know he's human and it seems
he's on a pedestal to me but I had a crapy experience at my 1st surgeons
office and the difference between the 2 programs is beyond night and day! I
have recommended him to others and I wouldn't do that if I didn't trust him
explicitly.
