Remember that everyone is different. I had my surgery 12/28/00 and am down
63 lbs. You are doing great!! I just recently have begun to have hunger
pangs but when I do, I reach for water and if that doesn't do it, a hard
boiled egg or fruit.

I think we need more information on your doctor's post-op instructions. Do
you eat 6 small meals a day? Are they loaded with protien? Do you drink
all your water? I drink coffee and diet Pepsi, and I know that caffiene
stimulates hunger when its abused, so I had to stop buying the pop (again).
You may be on a plateau as well - which always seems to make us want to
throw in the towel. Some people do seem to experience more hunger during
plateaus. Keep working through it and you'll catch up...you've got
wonderful progress!

Hi, I find that I am hungry fairly often as well. I will eat some crackers
with peanut butter on them, Or a protien bar, BUT my FAVORITE thing to eat
when I am hungry and it is not a meal time is WATERMELON!! I LOVE
watermelon! I find that it is very filling, and I can eat a pretty good
amount of it. I buy it all the time and always keep it in the fridge. Good
luck!!

it will go down more turts like to 5-6 lbs a months ..Keep hanging in there
U will make it ...no worries..

did you say you had surgery 3/16/01? why is everyone saying 2 month
loss.... that looks like 3/16/01 to me...50 pds is a great loss but if you
had it back on 3/16/01 i would wonder why it wasn't more...what was your
starting weight?
