Question:
Has anyone had RNY GBS with severe liver fibrosis?

I have been diagnosed with severe liver fibrosis. I was actually on the operating table ready to have the GBS only to be sewn up and told "you have cirrhosis. sorry can't do the surgery." My pathology results came back as severe fibrosis, so I decided to get a different surgical opinion. I, too have bridging fibrosis at level 3. I am having my first consult today with the MD for bypass. I was verbally told at a MLS meeting (live) that this surgery could reverse this process, and, if not, lessen it. So far I haven't found anything online to support that but I am looking.
