Question:
What if I get turned down now???

I went to my Surgeons orientation on RNY. And I know I want wls. This is the same doctor that removed my gallbladder 2 years ago. This close to actually getting scheduled I am really getting worried over not being approved. My appointment is Thursday April 12, 2001 at 2:30.    — Pat H. (posted on April 10, 2001)

All you can do at this point is be prepared for either answer. Do what you can to get approved and wait. Either that, or call them up and harass them till they cave! LOL Seriously, there's not much you can do now but wait. We do understand how you feel though. It's enough to drive you nuts. Not too long to wait though. They'll make a decision before the surgery, I'm sure. If not, you'll have to postpone, unless you have the funds yourself. I'd hate to see you go through with it figuring they'll approve, and get stuck with a bill that size. I doubt the surgeon will go through without their approval anyway. Pray hard!
