Question:
Does anyone have information about Dr. Brody at Cleveland Clinic?

I'm researching lap surgeons in Cleveland and so far there is only one. Dr. Fred Brody at Cleveland Clinic. Does anyone have him? If so, what are your impressions? I understand that he is not a bariatric surgeon but does have extensive experience with lap procedures of different types. I know of 2 people who have had surgery with him that were initially lap but ended up as open. I've also heard that his bedside manner isn't great (which is less of a concern to me than that of his surgical prowess). Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have an appointment with Dr. Brody at the Cleveland Clinic on the 7th of may. I also had a few questions about him so I went to the Cleveland Clinic web site and found out alot about the program and about Dr. Brody. I also called and ask quite a few questions before I made the appointment. From what I understand Dr Brody is a general surgon with extensive experience with bariatric surgery. I really don't care much if he has a good bedside manner or not as his medical record speaks for it's self. I don't think he would work for one of the best medical centers in the world if he wasn't a great surgeon. I'll be able to post more after I see him. Good luck
