Question:
Do mitral and aortic insufficiencies qualify as comorbidities ?

I recently had my pre-op echocardiogram done and the results showed an increase in the size of the left atrium,and mitral and aortic insufficiency. Does that count as a co-morbidity ? Or will it postpone my chances of having surgery ?    — Regina1129 (posted on March 19, 2001)
