Tonia- sleep girl! I had an EKG done- all they do is hook
up a few heart monitors (sticky things- how technical) to your
chest and print out your heart beat. Simple & painless!! It
is just a hoop you have to jump through to get your surgery:)

Tonia,
You are already in my prayers sweetie! As for the echo..it's nothing but
an ultrasound of the heart. They use a lubricant to slide this camera type
thing around your chest..it isn't painful (unless you have a really rough
tech. *grins*)...you are going to do great! God bless and take
care...Terri

Tonia ~ Congratulations on your date!! The echo cardiogram is very simple,
all you do is lay on a table and some slides a little camera with goop all
over your left chest area. Painless and takes only a few minutes. I think
the first post was referring to an EKG not the echo cardiogram, so far I've
had an echo cardiogram (ultra sound of the heart), abdominal ultrasound,
two EKG's, lots of blood drawn, two chest xrays, more blood drawn lol. Good
luck to you!! God bless :-)

Basically, it was an ultrasound on your heart along with wires to record
your hearts activities. Easy...I had mine done about a month ago. Good
luck
