Question:
Have you found your body size has changed when you reach previous weights?
I am down to 240 from 355. The last time I was at this weight, I was a size 22. Now I'm an 18. I haven't grown, my tummy skin is definitely loose and sagging...what gives? Anybody else notice this? — [Anonymous] (posted on December 2, 2000)

This happened to me too! I started as a 24-26 and had clothes down to a
size 16 in the closet but as I lost weight nothing fit the same. The good
news is I lost weight in my face which I had never done before - bad news
is I have been having to spend money on clothes!

Same thing here. I'm at 148 (down from 234 and size 22-24) and wear a 6
petite. Last time I was 148, I wore 12-14. I work out a lot, but I can't
imagine that accounts for such a big difference. Although, I'm not too
upset about having such problems...

Hi, same thing is happening with me, down from a 28 at 302 pounds to 14/16
at 200 pounds. The last time I wore a size 14, I weighed 160 pounds. I saw
a documentary on television a year or so ago that stated clothing
manufacturers were changing the way they size clothes (placing smaller
sizes on larger clothes) due to the fact the U.S. population in particular
was becoming so overweight. Women especially weren't comfortable purchasing
large sizes so they sized them smaller to keep us buying new clothes.
Anyway, what's a size?? We are going to be going down in size so fast, it
isn't really the size that matters, it's whether we look good in what we
have on and how we feel, no matter what a label says.
