Question:
Hello, I am almost 8 weeks post op with a lap RNY. Today for the 4th time after
lunch, (any time from 30 min. to 90 min.) I started getting real hot on my face. When I look, my arms, neck and face look like I have been out in the sun all day. I am beet red and feel like someone put pepper on my skin. I have not had new foods when this happends. Today for instance, I had 1/4 c. cottage cheese (something I live on), and a half fresh peach ( I have had several this week). Has anyone else had this problem? Thank you, Linda Lu — Linda L. Sometimes as our bodies adjust to the new stomach and the healing
continues, we can tolerate things for a while only to reject them later.
And some foods we can't have one day, become favorites the next. Just like
a baby. Talk to your doc but it almost sounds like a form of dumping. The
dairy might be getting to you or the carbs in the peach. Just stay away
from those things for now and maybe you can add them back later. Good luck.
