Question:
Can anyone tell me why at only 6 weeks out I have gained 4 pounds?
I don't understand why I have gained, I am not even eating three meals a day. I eat maybe, twice a day. I am getting most of my protein and all of my pills. I also get all of my water. Can someone please tell me if this is normal???????????? — Charla B. (posted on September 26, 2000)

Hi Charla, you really havn't given enough information. Have you lost a lot
of weight and bounced back 4 pounds? Or have you not lost any and gained 4
pounds? Are you near your monthlys? If you have indeed lost a lot of
weight and gained 4 lbs, this could just be water weight bounce and many
people get this. A lot of us have thrown out the scales and only weigh and
measure monthly. The measuring is important..Because many times you will
loose inches but not lbs. Also with women we can fluctuate up to ten lbs.
prior to out monthly cycles. Lot's of luck hope this helps . Carin

Carin, said it best when she said to measure and do not let the scales be
your only guide. There are lots of reasons why you could have gone up 4
pounds, It will be gone before you finish getting reponses from this
question. If you are having your cycle, not drinking water like you should.
What was on your body when you weighed, if you are doing what you say you
are then it is going to fall off, exercise or not. Now I think exercise is
very important. Keeps the skin moving and helps the weight come off. You
can be building muscle when you exercise and for a little while your weight
will flux a little but not for long. Good luck and get out the tape and
measure....Trina
