Protein is important to us because it is protein our body needs for muscle
building and blood formation. Carbs are energy and fats keep things going
smoothly. Obviously I'm not in the medical field- but i do know how
important protein is.

Hello, You need protein to avoid muscle destruction during weight loss.
Adequate protein intake helps you lose fat and keep muscle. It is also a
tissue builder and helps you to recuoerate from surgery faster and better.
Hope this helps!

You eat the protien first for two reasons. 1) it is easier absorbed on an
empty stomach and 2) if you get full before finishing your meal you will
have already gotten the most important part-nutritionally speaking.
I think of it like when I was younger and my mother would not allow me to
eat dessert until my veggies were "all-gone".
I know it seems like a pain but it is a much smaller pain than your hair
thinning because you are not absorbing enough protien. Hang in there - and
listen to your mother!
Good luck and I hope this helps.

You should eat your protein first because it's the most important part of
our meal from a nutrition standpoint. If you eat other items first, then
you run the risk of not having enough room to eat your protein. Hang in
there.

Hi,
Quite simply, If you don't eat the protien first, You probably won't have
room for it at the end of your meal. Eat the protien first and then eat
what ever other healthy food you can at the end of the meal.
