Question:
Did tolerance of artificial sweeteners change after a few months?
Just after surgery, I had to eat diet jello, diet pudding, diet yogurt, etc. I got so SICK of that artificial sweetener taste that I just left these foods out of my diet for 4 months. Now, I suddenly realized that I LOVE these foods again and have added them back in! This is so cool, because they have less calories and they are also a way for me to get in more calcium. Has anyone else experienced this return in taste? I'm so glad I purchased some Dannon light yogurt! It is wonderful!!!! — Cindy H. (posted on August 25, 2000)

I think I'm going through the phase you just got out of. I have always
loved light yogurt, sugar-free jello, etc. All of a sudden, I can't stand
the taste of nutrasweet. I'm now stuck with packets and packets of jello,
crystal light, yogurts. I guess all hold on to everything (I'll get rid of
the yogurt, of course) to see if this distaste goes away.
