Question:
Is anyone finding themselves unusually tired at 6 months post op?

I did not have any of the fatigue that most people talk about directly after surgery. Now I am so tired that I can sleep 10-12 hours a day and still I feel tired. My blood work came back normal. I am getting about 60 grams of protein a day and taking my vitamins regularly. I exercise about four days a week, walking 3 miles on each of those days. I don't know what I can do to get that energy back. I am only 54 pounds from my goal weight and I am ready to have that energy back. Any suggestions or did any of you have this problem where none existed before?    — S S. (posted on July 5, 2000)

Steph, I'm just about 6 mo. post-op. I haven't experienced the fatigue that you are, but I know at my last Dr. visit, he said he would give me a B-12 shot reguardless of lab work. Are you on Rx Iron tablets? Maybe you're just doing more now than you use to,due to the weight loss, and becoming more tired because of it!!!Good Luck! Dani
