Yes, Dorothy it's common to feel a little weak right after surgery
your legs will be a little shaky and weak I found my strength finally
coming back about 3-4 week post-op. While the tired and weakness was
going on I took short walks three or four times a day as I tired so fast.
As my strength picked up I increased the walks. If you're experiancing
fainting with weakness of limbs contact your PCP or Surgeon just to
make sure all is well..

Hi. Just a thought but I wonder if possibly you are a diabetic or have
hypoglycemia? One of the symptoms of low blood sugar is weakness in your
legs. Other symptoms may include feeling faint, sweaty and kinda
"shaky" all over. Another thought may be that your potassium is
out of wack. Make sure you are eating as balanced meals as you can and try
to include something from all 6 food groups (protein, fruit, veggie, milk,
fat (yes, fat) and carb) with every meal...even if it's only a bite or two.
You need food from every food group to help to keep your blood sugar
level. And try to eat those meals at approx the same time everyday. If it
still persists, then definately call your doctor. You could possibly have a
pinched nerve too. I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on television, but I
am a diabetic and have experienced a weakness like your having when my
sugar drops too low. Good luck and continued success on your weight loss
journey. cj
