Question:
(greater Cleveland Area)Don't people know there IS more than one hospital doing WLS?

All I read in this website from patients in the Greater Cleveland area, is that Dr. Schreiber and Sonopal (sp?)at St Vincent's Hospital are the only one's that do bariatric surgery around this area! I never read of other options, unless people go out of the greater Cleveland area. THERE IS ANOTHER PLACE IN CLEVELAND that WILL DO THIS SURGERY. The place is University Hospital of Cleveland. The doctor's name (surgeon)is THOMAS STELLATO. You can reach his office at 216-844-3021. He is a doctor dedicated to helping morbidly obese patient's to get their lives back, again. His staff is the best. University Hospitals is one of the 2 best hospitals in the entire area. Dr Stellato will not turn you away if you have Medicare or an insurance that might not cover the surgery. They will appeal it for you if you are turned down the first time. They also have a monthly pmt plan for patients who are not covered by insurance. They have a variety of topics at the meetings to help patients learn all they can about the bariatric surgery and things related to it. So, if you are turned down by Dr Sopal or Dr Schreiber or just want to explore other doctors in the area, check in w/ Dr Stellato's office. They offer quality care.
