Question:
How long did it take for your incision scar to fade? (1)

...and what, if anything, did you apply that worked? I still see my incision scar, from Open RNY 8/20/99, as a reminder of my re-birth... but... today I want to have some idea when I can wear some cute crop tops :-) Thanks for the ideas Group....    — California J. (posted on February 16, 2000)

Hey Jo, Someone on here sells some stuff called Scar Go and they themselves used it to help with their scars. Gosh, for the life of me, I cannot remember their name. But the email is [email protected], email her and she can tell you how well the stuff works. She has maintained her weight loss for, I believe, 5 years. Plus she also had other abdominal surgeries that the Scar Go helped on. Try her and see what she says. I think a tube of the stuff only costs like $8.00, so to me it would be well worth the money spent to help fade the scar. Good luck...Marni
