Question:
Has anyone used Unicare Insurance? How hard is apporval?
My employer just switched to Unicare (effective 02/01/00) and I have never heard or dealt with that company. I have started the "footwork" for surgery but haven't had my first appointment with a physician yet. — Monica A. (posted on January 25, 2000)

I use Unicare. It depends on which plan you have. Beneflex thru Unicare
pays for the surgery for 3 days and no epidural IF you have a
complication.(sleep apnea, chest pains).

HI ... sorry this is so late. Well it took a month for them to come back
and say..." we need a psych evaluation... recent thyroid tests (mine
were low), and a pre-op physical and an approval from my regular
doctor.".. I just had all that done so we shall see what they say.
