Question:
This isn't a question, but I have a few words to say to all of you....
Hi Everyone, My surgery is tomorrow morning and I am just a big bundle of nerves today...I can't even concentrate enough to eat...hehe I just wanted to thank everyone on this web site for all their much needed advice and encouragement during the last couple of months. Every question I had and some I never even considered was answered and I really have appreciated all the help. Anyway, before I get too mushy I should just say...I hope to be talking to you all soon....(if you get my meaning...hehe) Love and Kisses to All — SherP (posted on October 18, 1999)

I know all will go well for you, Sher. I am 14 days post-op and
do am already a lot happier than before the surgery. I remember
being nerveous and anxious before the surgery. Don't forget to
take those before pictures.
I'll pray for you and your family tomarrow, and will see you "on
the other side".

about 3 1/2 weeks post myself, and I remember the night before!! Hang in
there, we are all with you!!

Hi Sher! Luckily, you are not alone. I was very nervous the day (s)
before surgery but it finally came and went about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I
already feel so much better and am happy I took the risk. We all know the
risks ahead if we do not have surgery far out weigh the risks of not having
it. I will keep you in my prayers (which really helped relax me). Good
luck! I'll watch when you are back online.

Sher,
Been there done that! You will be fine, but the night before if a long
one. I am 6 months post-op and still remember the day before. We all know
that we might be one of the unlucky ones, but we also know that we are not
going to make it into old age if we don't make serious changes. You are
starting a wonderful journey and each day gets better. Bless You and don't
forget....walk, walk, walk, deep breath and cough! (Can't stop being a
nurse!)

Hi Sher, I will keep you in my prayers. All will go well for you. My big
day is October 21, and my anxiety increases with every minute that goes by
I can't imagine what October 20, will be like. I'll look for you back on
line in the very near future. (smile)
