Question:
Is an epidural really necessary?

I had an epidural with the last two C-sections. The first time, I itched a little, the second, I had a severe reaction. Is the epidural required, or is there an alternative?    — karen C. (posted on October 11, 1999)

Its not required with my dr, I had a choice.
