If you don't live in California he can only help you with appeal letters.
If by chance you decide to take your insurance company to court then he
will refer you to a lawyer in your own state. He is very hard to get a
hold of and you will almost never talk to him by phone only through email,
but be prepared to wait awhile for his response!

Hello, I actually used Kelley Lindstrom, Walter's wife and she rocked! You
can read my profile to read about my journey. I had no problems with them
at all, they are correct about the appeal process, they will direct you to
a lawyer in your state if you have to go to court. They were very prompt
with getting back to me and helping me win my appeal. A happy 100 pounds
down! (12/17/04 RNY Lap) I would recommend them wholeheartedly and they
follow up to see how I was doing.
