Question:
ATTN: BARIX PATIENTS-Have you been told you owe more money due to complications?

Have any Barix patients paid the $25,500 and ended up having to pay more for complications? It is my understanding that the discounted price does not include an extended hospital stay or any related complications. Please help.    — MeltingAway (posted on June 4, 2005)

I've not been there done that yet but I am in the same situation. My surgeon said that he has never had trouble with my insurance picking up complications - they just flat out won't pay for surgeory. I would ask, however, I must admit I still worry about it.
