Question:
How does the Social Services Spend Down Program work, and has anyone been approved

I live in Michigan I've been employed for the last 10 yrs, but my employer does not offer health insurance, only health and welfare which for me equals out to about ($250.00) per month, I recently applied for the dept of Social Services Spend Down Program because i'm over the income level (havent been approved yet), and I wanted to know how it works and has anyone been approved for the surgery using it.    — emku (posted on May 18, 2005)
