Question:
DOES ANYONE HAVE INFO REGARDING CCN INSURANCE?
ONLY THINGS I DO KNOW ARE THAT CCN REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE A SECOND OPINION FROM A SURGEON NOT AFFLIATED WITH YOUR CURRENT SURGEON. I AM FORTUNATE TI HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CHOOSE A PROVIDER FROM THE CCN LIST WITHOUT A PCP REFERRAL. MY FIRST CHOICE IS DR.MILTON OWENS, MY SECOND IS DR. CALLERY (BOTH IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY). I HAVE A BMI OF APPROXIMATELY 37, WEIGH 235, AND AM 5'7" TALL. CO-MORBIDITIES INCLUDE HIGH CHOLESTEROL, JOINT PAIN, VARICOSE VEINS, EXTREME TIREDNESS, PAIN IN KNEES (DIFFICULTY GOING FROM SITTING/SQUATTING POSITION TO STANDING, SHORTNESSS OF BREATH, SNORING, SWEATS, SKIN RASHES, ETC. MY FATHER DIED AT AGE 52 FROM A HEART ATTACK. MY BROTHER HAD A TRIPLE BYPASS AT THE AGE OF 40, HAS GOUT, DIVERTUCULITIS, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, BREATHING DIFFICULTIES, AND HAS NEVER WORKED OR SOCIALIZED OUTSIDE HIS HOME. MY MOTHER HAD GALLSTONES. MY BROTHER, DAUGHTER, MY FATHER, AND MYSELF ALL HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL (HEREDITARY). HOW DO MY PROSPECTS LOOK? I SUBMITTED AN ONLINE PRE-OP APPLICATION & COPIES OF MY INSYRANCE CARD YESTERDAY AND HAVE WATCHED A REQUIRED ONLINE SEMINAR. HOW MUCH LONGER DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?? ALSO, WHAT IS DONE DURING YOUR FIRST MEETING WITH THE SURGEON (PLEASE BE SPECIFIC). SORRY ABOUT THE LENGHTY POSTING BUT IT'S MY FIRST TIME HERE. BY THE WAY, I LOVE THIS SITE AND THE INCREDIBLE SUPPORT THAT EVERYONE PROVIDES. THANK YOU:) — wendyjca (posted on April 18, 2005)

Hi, CCN is on my surgeons list of insurances that pay at 50%. I know
nothing about their requirements. Good luck. Leslie
