DOES MEDICAID COVER psych evaluations?

in the state of california, if you apply for medi-cal, you are placed on a health plan, i chose IEHP...wich has been heaven sent...they have covered every thing..my authorization took only 4 days to get (on the first try)..hope this helps

I live in Louisiana and medicaid covered me to get lap band surgery. I had it on March 29, 2004.
