IN DESPERATE NEED OF SAMPLE LETTER FOR INSURANCE CO

MY SURGEON IS REQUESTING THAT I WRITE MY OWN LETTER FOR HIM TO SUBMIT TO CIGNA FOR APPROVAL ON MY PANNI.I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO EVEN START. CAN SOMEONE PKEASE HELP ASAP.I AM ALSO HAVING A HERNIA REPAIR AT THE SAME TIME..    — loisph (posted on November 19, 2004)

I must say, I am so shocked that the surgeon would want YOU to write the letter. I was going to say, find a new surgeon, but after reading all the replys, it looks like others have had to write their insurance. My doc's office nurse writes all the requests and I was approved within 2 weeks. I guess maybe I had it easy....Good luck...debbie
