Question:
Does anyone know of a site that sells post-op TT support garments discounted??

Hi, I went to see my PS today. I am seeing improvement every day and he is pleased, too. He said that he would like me to wear a support garment or binder for at least 3 months. Right now I have 2 post surgical binders from the hospital. They are already kinda stretched out and on the big side. He showed me a catalog of the post op garments that can be ordered, but they are around $99 a piece, and I am thinking that I will need 2 of them, saving these old ratty things for sleeping. Has anyone ordered from a place that has decent prices?? I want the high waisted brief with the zipper on the side, and maybe the full torso brief withe zipper on the side. Any ideas would be appreciate4d. Thanks!! Ann    — Fixnmyself (posted on August 26, 2004)

Hi. Thanks for all the suggestions. I was surfing last night and found an old fashioned "girdle" store online that is not far at all from where I live. I called this A.M. and they have several high waisted, thigh length girdles with zippers in addition to several without zippers. My husband is taking me there this afternoon. Feel free to e-mail me and I can give you the website and feedback as to whether the garment will serve our purpose. Thanks again!!!

Hi, me again. I went to the place for my undergarments today. I felt like I as shopping with my grandmother. A really old style place with "fitters" and seamstresses. I got 4 of them since I need them for 3 months and can't handle washing them everyday. 2 are lighter weight than the others, and with the zippers and fasteners I'd better give myself plenty of time to get to the bathroom. The site is www.frish.com. Ann
