Question:
Anybody take Spirulina?

I have a non-WLS friend who takes spirulina for energy and says it works wonders for her. I'm not sure where it's absorbed in the intestinal tract and if it would work for me, a distal rny gastric bypass patient. Anybody have any experience with this?    — Vicki S. (posted on July 31, 2004)

You should talk to Melissa Mermaid http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=M1075682974 She is taking Spirulina and is very happy with the results. She is hoping to be DSer, so she probably knows something about the answer to your question.
