Question:
I am 4 wks po from Plastic Surgery and have a lump about the size of an egg in my
lower stomach. Dr said it was fat and other accumulated junk. It would eventually go away, and that massaging it vigorously would help. Anyone else have this, did it go away??? — Gail O. (posted on July 12, 2004)

Mine wasn't the size of an egg but it did go away. I had two just above
the hairline with my TT and they have gone away. I am 6 months post op. I
still have a lot of swelling and it varies from day to day. The following
web site is great. It is full of information. Check it out.

I had egg sized lumps form in my arms after my brachioplasty. I had them
aspirated many times, but finally had to have a second surgery to remove
the cyst that formed. I believe this was because my arms weren't wrapped
since I left the hospital (dr. orders). Keep wearing your binder and I'm
confident they will go away. I kept my arms wrapped for 6 weeks following
my second arm surgery and they did not re-form.
