Question:
Are there any support groups in Richmond VA ?
If not how is one formed. My surgeon is in DC and I will not be able to go to the support meetings post op because I work nights and even if I didn't there is no way I would make it to DC by 7pm leaving Richmond at 5. — davesband1 (posted on June 2, 2004)

have a support group or not.

The yahoo link for the group that meets at St. Mary's in Richmond is

The two posted above are the only 2 I know of as well, but I just wanted to
point out that, although I haven't been since maybe Sept. 03, the St.
Mary's one is only once a month. I found this web site to be far more
helpful frankly. Whenever I had a question about something I could pop on
here, anytime day or night, and just about every time, my question was
answered somewhere on here. I also like the fact that you could look up
slightly embarrassing issues with anonymity versus asking in a large group.
My $.02 anyway.
