Question:
If you are 5ft 3 inches .. What is your goal weight
I set my goal weight at anything in the 130s. I am currently 132 so I am in my goal weight but still need a tummy tuck which will most likly put me in the 120s. — Catherine B (posted on May 29, 2004)

I started at 304 and I am 5'4. My current weight is 133, before any plastic
surgery. I will probably be in the mid 120s after plastics too. I consider
myself at goal right now.

The goal, according to the insurance company information I read, was 130#
top end of the scale. I like it a little lower, so I want to stay between
120-125. For me, that's a size 4 and I love it :)

I am 5'2". I started at 264 and set my goal to 139 ( I wanted to be
under 140). Well, I sailed right past that and went down to 116-118. I
settled nicely after about 1 year post op at 123. In the last 6 months I've
gained about 4 pounds and weigh 127. My new "goal" is to stay
under 130. I am so happy here! I am a size 6 and maintaining that. I've
had no plastics. Although, I sure could use some when naked. But with
clothes on I look pretty good!

It really depends on your age. I am 55 and my doctor set my goal at 150, I
am 5'2". I weigh 155 now and have been to 3 consultations with plastic
surgeons and all three have esitmated that I have 15 to 20 pounds of excess
skin that could be removed with a LBL. Does that mean that I actually weigh
140 and the extra skin makes up the difference? By the way, Weight Watchers
set my goal at 136.

I'm 5'3 1/2 and weighed 319. Goal was 129/130. Never could get lower than
156. At three years out my body wants around 162-164. It seems happy there.
I am not. :(
By the way, I weighed 123 in high school. Actually I'd be happy with 135. I
sure don't know how you guys have gotten down into the 120's and 130's.

I'm 5'4" and my personal goal was 150 then I found that I needed to be
145 to be considered "normal" weight so I think I'll work toward
that. I'm at 163 now and wearing a size 10 in some things and 12 in others.
Feels pretty good right now even if I don't lose another pound.

I'm about 5'3". Started at 230. Never got under 164 despite eating
very little and exercizing more than the average bear. I wear a 12-14p. I
also am 46 years old and going throught the change. I'm happy where I am
but did wish I could have gotten lower. Just have to accept reality for
what it is. Good Luck. C

I'm 5'2 and weigh 126. Anything between 123 and 129 is a good weight for
me.

I had open RNY on 1/30/04. I hope to eventually weight about 150 or less.
During 2 yrs in my adult life I weighed 125 and wore 9/10 and it would be
nice to be this size again. 352/286/150

My surgeon says for my height (5'4"), my weight goal should be 134#s.
I think that's a little too skinny for me, so if and when I reach 140 to
145, I'll be happy with that!
