Question:
Does anyone know where I can buy a food dehydrator?

Dianne, I have a Ronco Food Dehydrator, it's great and they give you great recipes with them. Including beef jerky. You can reach them at www.ronco.com. Good Luck! Sherry

I bought a Nesco American Harvest at Wal-Mart. On their web site, they list this model for $59.99, I paid $39.99 at Wally World. If you go to the Nesco site, they will list the stores that carry each model. I saw quite a few dehydrators on E-bay, but, I swear, folks there seem to be willing to pay "new" price for old dehydrators, then add on the S&H charges! I've been making my own jerky and LOVING it! Having a ball experimenting, too. Hint: NEVER eat your jerky in front of your dog...she'll never leave you to eat jerky in peace again! Good luck. Linda

You should be able to find information and advertisments for food dehydraters in Mother Earth Magazine and other organic gardening magazines. You should be able to find them at your local grocery or book store in the magazine rack. Hope this helps.
