H Mindy,
I had RNY July 2002 and got pregnant Aug 2003. I am actually delivering
tomorrow (I'm being induced). I've gained about 40 pounds. More than I
wanted but still well within a healthy pregnancy range. My OB is actually
pleased with it - I think she thought I would have trouble gaining weight.
I'm planning on keeping my profile updated with how getting the weight off
goes. Congrats on the wedding and good luck with the babies.

My surgery was in August 2000 and my son is 4 weeks old. I gained 39
pounds. What's really weird is that I found that I could eat endlessly
while I was pregnant. After I had the baby, the quantity went down a bit.
I haven't weighed in yet. I go back to the doctor in two weeks.

I don't know the answer to your question (my baby days are over LOL) but I
did just find out my friend who is a year and a half post op, is pregnant
with TWINS- I'm curious to see how much she'll gain along the way :)

Hi Mindi, I will be 3 years post op in July. I had a son in Dec 2002,
gained 8 pounds, lost 28 after birth. Just had a daughter last month and
gained 17, lost 22 so far. My pregnancies were the best after WLS. No
problems, all lab work came out fine. I just ate small meals all day. Want
to email me anytime I am here. Good luck.**** Angela
