Question:
RNY Revision to Lapband?

To help correct an enlarged Stoma.....has anyone had the Lapband done after having RNY and regaining some weight due to an enlarged stoma?    — Diana E. (posted on April 30, 2004)

I have. I had my RNY done 11/2000 and the lap band was put on October 2003 to fix a non-functional stoma. After fills, its working just fine. Due to adhesions tho, the lapband had to be put on 'open' but it was a shorter cut and healed faster.
